Cotémon is built to respect your privacy: no account, no ads, no cross-app tracking. Card recognition runs on your device and your collection is stored locally.
Who we are

Data we process
- Camera images — used only to recognise card text on your device via Google ML Kit, locally.
- Your collection — stored locally on your device and not transmitted.
- Card lookups — identifiers sent to TCGdex to fetch card details, images and prices.
- Purchases and subscriptions — handled by Apple and RevenueCat.
- Usage analytics — PostHog collects anonymous first-party usage events.
What we do not do
- No collection of your name or email
- No ads or cross-app tracking
- No sale or rental of data
- No servers or account system

Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog, TCGdex, and Google ML Kit.
Retention and control
Local data is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Legal basis and rights (GDPR)
Processing is based on performance of the contract and legitimate interest. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection.
International transfers
Third-party services may process data outside the EEA with appropriate safeguards.
Children
Cotémon is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time.
